Custom Treehouses

Have you watched Swiss Family Robinson with your kids?  and after dreamnt of an awesome tree-house?

now you can have the tree-house you've always wanted but disguised as "for your children",  of course.

Custom Tree-houses.  We have been building this prototype and our kids (and our friends and ourselves) love it!  I will be adding photos as we progress.

First find that great big tree in your yard and if you have a couple of great big trees that's even better for later additions.

When you have winter a good portion of the year, you need a tree house or club house that the kids can use most of the year, no matter what the outside weather conditions.

Enjoy the beginning steps.  And check back soon for continuing steps in this exciting project.  A break from the everyday.

its been awhile

time flies....I just realized its been almost a year since we've made a blogging.  A lot has been going on.  And it seems in this slow economy we've been doing a lot to make your home you have a "new home" by some simple updates.  And we have had quite a few projects where the customers have been our "helpers".  That might interest you as well.  If you have a remodel you might have the time right now to do the demo work, that saves you money and us time.  You might like us just to do the framing, drywall, electrical and plumbing and you finish up with the painting.  We can come back later to do the floors.  Lots of options.  but you won't know the options til you call us and talk.  Remember we service a good part of the Front Range...from Denver to Vail, out to Breckenridge...including Gilpin County and Evergreen.

SPRUCING UP

Its that time of year when family may be coming to visit.  And if you are like us, its the only time projects get finished around the house.   I go into each room and look around to see what I want spruced up and make a list.  A gallon of paint can do wonders to spruce up a room.  There may be small projects that you would like to see get  finished  before your company arrives.  Email us with questions and we will do what we can to give you a quick response on how to get started.  If you find yourself running out of time, we can get you scheduled to help get your projects completed.  Every project, no matter the size is important to you and important to Doyle Construction.

Freezing Time

Whether  you live up in Breckenridge, Silverthorne, Dillon, Georgetown, Idaho Springs, or Evergreen it's freezing time!  Have you blown out your sprinkler systems?  Have you disconnected outside water hoses?  How about winterizing those outside faucets?  Just a little bit of time that will save you a lot of money and frustrations.  Now if you live in a house that has problems with pipes freezing, there are some things you can do.  If you know that you have this problem every year than check the weather temperatures for overnight and if its going to be extremely cold, leave a slight stream of water on in your sink.  (make sure it's not plugged-you don't want other types of problems)  This one is the easiest.

Now in the spring time there are things we can do to help you get those pipes below freezing levels in the ground.

If you do find that you have some frozen pipes, give us a call and we'll see what we can do to get your water running again.

Everything Under One Roof

This is a how to site but for some, the last thing you want to do is pick up a hammer, especially after you've worked a full week. You want your weekend to be relaxing and about enjoying your home.  And we agree with you 100%.

But even more time consuming than doing your own project can be calling different contractors and trying to get estimates together for different stages of your construction needs.  So before you start a project give us a call.  We are your one phone call for everything you need.  We have lots of experience in every stage of construction.  Don't spend all day on the phone.  That is what we are here for.  So if you are in Breckenridge, Vail, Evergreen, Conifer or anywhere in between, give us a call.  Doyle Construction will get you taken care of and back the important things, enjoying your weekend.

Driveways

How are your driveways?

Winter shoveling and plowing can take a toll on driveways.  If you have small holes you can do a lot yourself to fix them up.  You can give us a call for an appointment to bring in materials, hand fill the holes and/or rent a small skidsteer and back drag those ridges out.

Summer Time

Summer time maintenance may be time consuming but well worth it in the long run.

By now you have probably checked those outside faucets and made sure there was no freezing during the past winter.  Good time to pop into crawlspaces and double check that those faucets are not leaking.  When watering your lawns  check that the water is not running into the side of the house or that your patio does not puddle water into the side of the house.  If so, check into installing a French drain.  Do not leave it and hope that it does not leak into your house.  We do not have big issues with mold at our elevation but keep in mind that mold can still grow here so check that no water is creeping into your house.

We only have a few months of our beautiful Rocky Mountain Summers~
Enjoy every minute of it outdoors and stay safe.

With all of your work outside you are going to need a refreshing drink.
We enjoy suntea made with GoodEarth Sweet and Spicy~ it is excellent!
